To kick-off its innovative, new Interactive & Motion Arts major, Moore is hosting a day-long event, Game Changers: Women Game Artists Discuss Life in the Industry, featuring a dynamic roster of women game artists on Thursday, October 17, 2013. Graduate Studies at Moore’s MFA in Interior Design program will host Smart Design: Data-Driven, Good Looking Interior Design and Architecture on Friday, October 18, 2013 from 7 – 8:30 pm in Stewart Auditorium. The FREE event will feature a group of industry panelists and keynote speaker Carla Diana, Associate Director of Interaction Design at Smart Design. A reception will follow in Widener Memorial Foundation Gallery.

What are the skills needed for you to be a leader in the competitive world of art and design? Moore will host the 2013 Leadership Conference for Women in the Arts on Saturday, October 19, 2013. At this interactive, day-long conference you will learn from women who’ve achieved success by taking risks, being flexible and developing a solid network and creating collaborative endeavors. You will also have the opportunity to have invigorating conversations with students from other colleges and universities.

Call for Artists
Call for Artists
The 2014 Juried Alumni Exhibition, Small…but Not Restricted, will be on view from January 21 through March 15, 2014 in the Wilson Gallery. Entries are due November 15, 2013. The work should reflect the notion that small can be a literal or abstract concept. For example, small can refer to magnitude, quantity, scope, age, force, status and more. An alumni reception will be held on February 15, 2014 in Wilson Gallery.
